Katy Broom

Intern

Katy Broom comes to Res Publica Group from the legal world, where she worked in both public interest law and the private sector. Her vast experience with research and writing will be an asset to the firm, as will her experience in planning and implementing social media campaigns.

Katy earned her Juris Doctor degree from DePaul University College of Law, where several of her articles were published. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and International Relations from The Ohio State University. While there, she was a member of the Undergraduate Student Government and the John Glenn Civic Leadership Council, and she garnered placements for both organizations in campus and local newspapers.

Katy is excited to put her energy into public affairs, and Res Publica Group is thrilled to have her on our team this winter.
