Res Publica Group was founded by Guy Chipparoni in October 2002 and has since grown to be one of the most effective independent public affairs and public relations agencies in the Midwest. Noted for its team of experienced professionals with corporate, government and frontline media backgrounds, Res Publica Group’s client base has more than tripled in the four years since its inception. Chipparoni founded and served as president of the public affairs division of KemperLesnik Communications before purchasing the division and launching Res Publica Group. He also served as senior managing director of public affairs at Hill & Knowlton and interim general manager of the firm’s Chicago operation. In 1998, Chipparoni received a gubernatorial appointment to the 11-member board of the Metropolitan Pier & Exposition Authority overseeing Navy Pier and McCormick Place, a position he held until June 2005. While on the Authority’s board, he served as Chair of Navy Pier and Vice Chair of the marketing committee. In July 2005, he was appointed to the Chicago Advisory Board of U.S. Bank. Chipparoni is a graduate of Illinois State University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. He is married with three children and lives in Chicago’s northern suburbs. |
