Kelly Meisner Klopp joined Res Publica Group at its inception, bringing with her a strong background in government affairs, strategic communication and grassroots organization. With her expertise in government regulation and public policy, Kelly serves corporate and non-profit clients primarily in the areas of health care, gaming, and education. She was an account supervisor at KemperLesnik Public Affairs prior to joining Res Publica Group. Previously, Kelly served as Director of Public Relations for the International Visitors Center (IVC), Chicago’s official host for U.S. Department of State-sponsored visitors to the United States. She coordinated all communication activities for the IVC, including media and public relations, membership outreach, and facilitation with the IVC Board of Directors and the Chicago Consular Corps. Kelly began her career in the prestigious Dunn Fellowship program in the Office of the Governor. The fellowship allowed her to work in Governor Jim Edgar’s Office of Special Events and International Affairs, coordinating events and briefing the Governor for meetings with foreign dignitaries and local community and ethnic groups. Kelly is a 1997 graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a degree in political science and holds a master’s degree in political science from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Kelly and her family reside in Arlington Heights. |
