Kristin Nilsson leads creative services for Res Publica Group. She has over 15 years of experience in design, advertising, branding and integrated marketing communications. Her goal is to create the best graphic solutions for clients across diverse platforms. Prior to joining Res Publica, Kristin ran her own successful design business. She developed logo and branding materials, along with interactive web and trade show booths for clients in the hospitality, commercial printing, financial and sports industries. Kristin also has created marketing collateral and signage for non-profit organizations like the New Mom’s, Inc, Alumni for Public Schools and the Lincoln Park Zoo Auxiliary Board. Kristin expanded her creative skills in the areas of direct mail and integrated marketing with Euro RSCG, RPM Advertising and Tenthirty Advertising. While serving in various creative roles she developed promotional campaigns for myriad clients, including Visa, ExxonMobil, The Field Museum, Harrah’s Entertainment and the American Dental Association. Before relocating to Chicago in 1999, Kristin worked for American Greetings in Cleveland designing and photo-styling product catalogs and sales materials. During her tenure she worked heavily in film and digital photography. Kristin is also involved with several non-profit organizations. Whether designing an invitation or painting a conference room, Kristin frequently donates her time to New Moms, Inc., a non-profit group that enables, empowers, and equips at-risk teen mothers and their children through services and mentoring. Kristin also donated her time to design the event signage for the inaugural AdColor Awards, “A celebration of the accomplishments of outstanding diverse professionals in the marketing, advertising and media industries.” Kristin is a 1992 graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design. She participated in varsity track and basketball and continues her involvement in competitive athletics. She and her husband reside in Chicago. |
