Laura Peck brings experience in state government, non-profit development, corporate consulting and academic public policy research to Res Publica Group.  Her work at Res Publica centers on the real estate, legal, health care and transportation fields. 

Laura assists clients in the areas of community relations, media relations and developing grassroots campaigns.  She also advises health care clients in navigating complex legislative and regulatory issues. 

Before joining Res Publica Group, Laura received a Masters degree in Public Policy from the University of Chicago.  In addition to her Masters Degree, she received a Certificate in Healthcare Administration and Policy focusing on health care law and healthcare management issues. 

Laura began her career working for the Governor’s Commission on the Status of Women in Illinois as a policy advisor.  She has held positions in development at Planned Parenthood/Chicago Area and served as a consultant for LaSalle Bank, promoting corporate volunteerism.  Laura also completed a residency with the Public Policy Department at People for the American Way in Washington D.C., focusing on issues related to civil liberties, civil rights and voting rights. 

Laura is a loyal supporter of Planned Parenthood/Chicago Area, serving on the event committee for the annual Roe v. Wade fundraiser for the past four years.   She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
