Lisa Trafficanta has distinguished herself as a media relations professional specializing in the development and implementation of crisis communications plans for a variety of clients in the health care, transportation, real estate and gaming industries in both the public and private sectors. Lisa has also taken the lead on several far-reaching community relations and grassroots campaigns with great success. She has crafted advocacy programs that have brought about desired outcomes for clients seeking action from elected officials and regulatory agencies. Blending grassroots efforts with effective media outreach and integration with the legal and regulatory process, Lisa has helped build brand new hospitals and protect the future of others. Having overseen the development of multi-media campaigns, Lisa is effective at integrating new media with traditional media to create a comprehensive strategy to reach and influence a client’s desired audience. Applying her professional talents to her own activities, Lisa serves as the Vice President of Communications of the Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation Auxiliary Board, and tutors and mentors children at the Mercy Home for Boys and Girls in Chicago. She is an active member of the Young Professionals of Chicago, the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, the Italian American Chamber of Commerce.
